Åsa Maria Camnert is a Stockholm-based Fashion Stylist, Textile Designer, and Design Strategist. She received her Master’s in Design Management from Pratt Institute, New York, and her Bachelor’s in Textile Design from Central Saint Martins, London.

Her artistic practice is multidisciplinary, grounded in narratives of materialization, craftsmanship, and sustainability, applying an experimental approach through the means of the deconstruction of materials. Her work merges the world of fashion and art, provoking emotion in opposition to existing ideals and dress codes.

After her Master’s she pursued a role tutoring for a Non-profit, coaching students in their artistic development, and focusing on curation and exhibition design. She remains supportive of emerging creatives pursuing a more sustainable approach toward fashion production.

Her academic work has been published in the Design Management Journal (2019) and presented at the U.N International Conference on Sustainable Development (2018).

She has worked with photographers such as Benedict Evans, Carl Bengtsson, Dimitris Lambridis, Jingyu Lin, John Gripenholm, Morgan Norman, and Rikard Lilja.
